Summary

What happened at the Daytona 500 this year?  Tony Steward and Mark Martin were only two laps away from an elusive victory in NASCAR's biggest race.  But when the green flag flew, Stewart and Martin dropped anchor and fell back.  Dale Earnhardt Jr ended up with a flat.  A wreck took out three other serious contenders and a relative new comer, Trevor Bayne, a 21 year old from Knoxville won the prize.   This proves the old proverb, "the race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong...but time and chance happens to them all." (Ecclesiastes 9:11).  I guess you could say it was Trevor's time in the sun.  In today's message Pastor Joe Stinnett shows how God gives everyone a chance to be a winner but many will not take time for God.  Many will fail to take advantage of their time in the sun and loose their chance to be a winner.  Take time for God.  Don't wait for a convenient season that may never come.  Today is the day of salvation.
